Intellectual Property

Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Starfocus offers optional in-app purchases, including subscriptions ("Starfocus Pro") and a lifetime purchase. A "lifetime" purchase grants access for the lifetime of the Application — that is, for as long as the Service Provider continues to offer and maintain the Application.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings. Subscription prices may change from time to time; Apple will notify you of any price changes in advance, and your continued subscription after such notice constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary. If offered, you will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged for the subscription.

Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. The Service Provider does not process refunds directly.

Service Modifications

The Service Provider reserves the right to modify the Application or introduce new paid features, with reasonable notice provided before any changes take effect. Existing subscriptions will be honored for their current billing period.

Data & Device Security

The Application stores and processes data locally on your device in order to provide its features. For details on how your data is handled, please review our Privacy Policy. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application.

Third-Party Services

The Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Your use of the Application is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which is incorporated herein by reference:

Connectivity & Limitations

Certain functions of the Application may require an active internet connection for features such as iCloud sync and subscription management. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function as intended due to lack of internet access.

If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. You may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage or other third-party charges. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges.

User Responsibility

The Service Provider cannot assume responsibility for all aspects of your usage of the Application. It is your responsibility to ensure that your device is in working condition and that you have adequate connectivity where required. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible for any loss of functionality caused by factors outside the Service Provider's control.

Updates & Termination

The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application so that it is relevant to you and/or compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. You are encouraged to install updates when available, as they may contain important fixes and improvements.

The Service Provider may cease providing the Application and may terminate its availability at any time. If you have an active paid subscription at the time of termination, the Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice and will not charge for subsequent renewal periods. You may also terminate your use of the Application at any time by uninstalling it from your device. Unless informed otherwise, upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application, and (if necessary) delete it from your device.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Application. In no event shall the Service Provider's total liability exceed the amount you have actually paid for the Application or its services in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any disputes arising from or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

The Service Provider may periodically update these Terms and Conditions. Changes are effective when posted unless otherwise stated. For material changes, the Service Provider will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the Application or by other means. Continued use of the Application after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
